Battery Charger

Hi,
Not sure where exactly to post this. I am looking to purchase a new battery charger. I own mainly AA,AAA and two 9V batteries all around 2000mAh. Ideally I would like a charger that can take 4 or more batteries at a time, and can tell me how much juice is in them, and how long left to charge them up.

Also my current stock of energiser rechargeable batteries is around 4+ years old, they don't seem to hold the same charge as they used to. Is it time to change my stock? Any ideas on brand or where is the best place to buy from?

Don't know about the 9V battery (I assume it's a PP3) but I have this unit which handles AA and AAA, it's an intelligent charger which will do a simple charge or you can tell it to charge up to 100%, drain all the way down and then back to 100% at which point it will tell you the battery's capacity. Another option (for older batteries) is called 'Refresh', this involves charging and discharging until the capacity levels off i.e. there's no further improvement. This can give a new lease of life to batteries which are suffering the memory effect.
