Smackdown 09/01/2015 *Results/Spoilers*

SmackDown kicks off with an in-ring promo from Seth Rollins, Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble. Roman Reigns interrupts to a big pop. Reigns ends up clearing the ring but Big Show comes out. Big Show and The Authority vs. Reigns is announced for tonight and Reigns must find a tag team partner.
Adam Rose makes his way out and The Authority are shown on the big screen. The New Day comes out and Big E defeats Rose.
The Ascension cut a promo in the ring and squashed two local wrestlers.
Alicia Fox defeated Naomi with her foot on the rope.
The Usos defeated Goldust & Stardust and The Miz & Damien Sandow in a Triple Threat to retain their titles. Goldust got pinned.
Sin Cara defeated Bad News Barrett clean in a non-title match. Barrett hit him with the Bullhammer after the match.Seth Rollins and Big Show vs. Roman Reigns and a partner is the main event. Nobody comes out for Reigns at first but finally the music of Dean Ambrose hits and out he comes. Ambrose and Reigns win when Reigns spears Rollins.

Its absurd how much they protect this guy. Rollins is MITB and main eventing Rumble surely he should be the priority?

As usual once you win a midcard title you lose all ability to win any non title matches.

They really need to work on their sound editing. Do they seriously expect us to believe that Naomi got what sounded like the biggest pop of the night? And the bit with Miz/Mizdow with Kane, the laughter was grand then suddenly it turned into sitcom laughter.

Think the reaction to Ambrose was the most believable.

Smackdown was Smackdown but the main event was really fun.

That was one of his better delivered promos. The wink was great. But who on earth writes his promos? Could you imagine the things they would have Austin saying if he was in his prime today.

Didn't mind the "Sufferin sucatash" but the "donkey dung for brains" was too John Cena.

I was pleasantly surprised by Reigns' promo.

The lines he was fed were beyond terrible as usual but his delivery wasn't awkward and forced like we're used to seeing.
