Its justified for local disruption throughout the northwest on minor roads etc, you may see nothing in your own area but others might see plenty.

very volatile up here in the South Kerry mountains. Dramatic hail shower then sunshine then dark again. My three layers of mountains to the North have increasing snow cover the further back they are.. gee! see the weather map on met! lol! And an orange wind alert too! Ah well. time here to light the range and get the soup going... drop in by all means but bring wood or turf with you!

Same here in north cork! A bit disappointed as conditions seem good temp and dp wise. Maybe later after dark some heavy showers as that's usually when we get any,

Snow really only on high ground in cork. Had a small bit of slush on car this morning but looking for a cm or 2 at least!
