A few wispy semi- darkish clouds on the horizon now in an otherwise brilliant blue sky in west Dublin , there's hope for us yet .
A candidate for most optimistic post of the day , no?

Mad hail in Claregalway about half an hour ago. Clear for about 20 mins but there's a big shower just starting again now. Hail, sleet and the dreaded graupel.
