Look only minor sleet/snow events happen in the West...short-lived at that..when there is a major event it is generally Dublin/Belfast that get it from the easterly/north-easterly wind with sub zero temperatures...

none of that snow fall will be along for more than a few hours...enjoy it though! A few flakes falling in Cork City...a miracle that is!!:pac::pac::pac:

Just had our first snow mixed with hail shower in Sandyford yay! Sun out again now but I was still like a kid in a sweet shop.

Snowing heavy in cork city now. It was raining only a few minutes ago so this has the potential of creating deadly ice conditions on the roads, people would want to be very careful
