NXT Tapings spoilers which I wouldn't draw too many conclusions from. They may even scrap the taping:
Dark Match: Riddick Moss def. "The Drifter " Elias Samson

    Episode 1:

    - William Regal hosts a contract signing between Bayley and Sasha Banks. Bayley said this time is different and it was her time. Sasha said that fairy tales don't have happy endings and Bayley isn't worth her time. Sasha leaves, but Bayley goes after her and they have a big brawl.

    - Tyler Breeze def. A Jobber.
Post Match: Breeze puts a Liger mask on the guy and gives him the Beauty Shot

    - Enzo Amore, Colin Cassady, and The Hype Bros def. 4 Jobbers in an 8 man tag match. Aaron Solo and Jesse Sorenson were two of the guys, but I don't know the other two.

    - Blake and Murphy def. Sawyer Fulton and Angelo Dawkins.
Post match: The Vaudevillains came out and wanted to talk about their plan for Alexa Bliss, but she kept slapping them.

    - Samoa Joe def. Steve Cutler.
Post match: Baron Corbin attacks Joe and lays him out with the End of Days.

    - Kevin Owens comes out with a ladder and a mic. He cuts a promo on the crowd, calling them hypocrites. He then tells Finn he will destroy him and win the NXT title. Finn comes out, runs Owens off, and says he'll kick Owens' ass.
(Note: If the entire promo Owens cut on the crowd airs, he'll likely be in Richard Trionfo ' s Fave 5 forever.)

    Episode 2:

    - NXT Women's champion Sasha Banks def. Gionna Daddio.

    - Rhyno and Baron Corbin def. The Ascension. The Ascension originally won by dq, but the match was restarted and Rhyno hit the Gore for the win.

    - Alexa Bliss def. Blue Pants

    - Apollo Crews def. Martin Stone

    - Eva Marie def. Billie Kay. Real weird spot where Eva Marie didn't kick out in time and the ref had to hold up on the three count.

    - Jason Jordan and Chad Gable def. Solomon Crowe and Neville

    Episode 3:

    - Carmella def. Peyton Royce

    - Johnny Gargano and Tomaso Ciampa def. Bull Dempsey and Tyler Breeze.
Post match: Tyler and Bull argued until Tyler laid Bull out.

    - Dana Brooke def. Billie Kay

    - Neville def. Kevin Owens by dq. Owens came out with the NXT velt, but interestingly, was not announced by name or as being champion.
Post Match: Owens went to attack Neville some more, but Finn Balor came out for the save. Tyler Breeze then came out and they worked Finn over. Neville made the comeback and they ran Owens off. Neville hit the Red Arrow on Breeze to send the crowd home happy.

    Notes:
    - The Hype Bros, Peyton Royce and Billie Kay all have new music.

    - The Ascension and Neville were both roundly cheered and treated like returning heroes.

    - If the match airs, it would mark Gionna Daddio's first match at Full Sail.

    - Becky Lynch and Charlotte did a meet and greet before the show, but did not work.

So I assume the contract signing episode will air before Brooklyn?

The rest is a bit confusing to say the least.

Is there another taping planned after Brooklyn? I think there was talks of even taping an episode after the event in the NJ arena to tie them over ?

Yeah they are taping stuff at Brooklyn.

There was a bunch of matches where there was no announcers at the announce table and the crane camera was on lowered (turned off essentially). The "episodes" after the first episode maybe just a house show.

    Want!
If only to wear in case I ever meet rovert. :p

Seriously though is she signed or still just helping on occasion?

On another note, I'm not reading the NXT spoilers, but I'm guessing from the replies that nothing of consequence, except the contract signing, happens and there's no hint of the outcome of Takeover

You either want spoilers or you don't! lol There's a bunch of random stuff with the wrestlers not involved in the title matches and there's is some trolling about the outcome of Takeover.

Thanks. Nah, was just curious if they did manage to work around Takeover like we were talking about. I'm guessing the episodes that air will have interviews and video packages to keep the Takeover contenders on tv

Why do you dislike Blue Pants so much rovert?

Yeah she's not very good in the ring(understatement) but she's hugely over and just kind of silly and dorky, which is perfectly fine in wrestling. She has this infectious enthusiasm about her.

In short Leva is someone who might like wrestling but looks at it as much as a way to exploit fans. Gets fans to pay for her flights and advertises that fact to promoters. People in Wrestling dislike talking about negatively her publicly as it alienates her friends and her very full on fans.

She's one of worst workers on the indies relative to her status and experience. Yet her fans call her a great wrestler - I understand liking what you like but she's the poster child for Women's Wrestling having no standards. Indie woman with a head = great wrestler.

Non-Wrestling wise I don't get think she's anyway interesting. Missed the meeting where we all decided that dress up was this specialised skill called cosplay.

Blue Pants is awesome, she should have her own thread on here a la Becky Lynch.

We can discuss why no one ever suggested the notion of WWE signing her prior to her NXT debut in October 2014 or whatever. Kind of a surprise given her "great wrestler" status among some online.

My favourite thing about her pants is that they're blue.

The wrestling business is a wrestler's business. Isn't the whole point to make money? Fair play if someone can make some money. I personally don't think Blue Pants is the greatest thing since sliced bread but I've no gears to grind here; it's a bloody t-shirt, an indie worker will make a few quid sfw.

    This makes zero sense.

I find the whole thing gas. Only ever saw her on NXT and the whole Blue Pants thing was just so organic and everyone including HHH was popping for it. The girl herself seems to love the banter and then the Big Cass fella doing her intro and everything is just fun. Wrestling is fun at the end of the day. I find her (as far as tv is concerned) more interesting than some of the women that are posted about on this thread like Cassie or the other one Jessie or that one that had the pictures of Rollins.

There's a difference between merch and exploiting fans.

Sorry for "get" being there. Seriously it is Friday night, mate.

Cassie and Jessie haven't been given characters yet. But both have decent strikes and can sell. Leva can't. A shockingly poor wrestler that's below serviceable jobber levels.

As long as she's being used on NXT and they've made a shirt for her, she must be doing something right in the eyes of the WWE. More power to her if she can make some sort of mark. I wouldn't be too worried if you aren't that gone on her, she hasn't taken any money from any of us personally (I hope!), plus, the good women are getting the good pushes.

I'll never be a subscriber to this:

But her selling merch (as she probably will) will be the first productive thing she will do in NXT from my POV. Otherwise she's TV jobber that the contracted Wrestler has to protect and make look good when since time immemorial it has been the other way around. If the shirt sells as well as Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe's initial merch I won't begrudge her getting a contract I will just question what can be done with her in the medium to long run. She's a poor promo and can't wrestle a Takeover level match.

We've all seen NXT Kids by now yeah? A pilot that wasn't meant to get out but did:

Just imagining River Tam saying "one, two, pants are blue"

On another note, did anyone else notice Bayley give mini Bayley a strange reaction when coming to the ring this week?

It was the third time they saw each other. :P

The girl's name is Izzy. As of Wednesday or so she wasn't going to Brooklyn. Everyone online naturally assumes WWE is flying her out but sadly that's not the case going by the latest word. They keep having to correct people on the subject which sucks.

NXT have used her for a lot of stuff in the past she was in this video:

    Oh:
    Source: PWInsider Elite

We noted a few months back that there was a possible working relationship developing between WWE and WWN Live, the parent company of EVOLVE and FIP, that would see WWE have "first access" to top indie talents and more.

Things have been quiet regarding the story but apparently WWE archivist Ben Brown, who is a Triple H guy, and WWE's Senior Director of Talent Development Canyon Cemen were backstage for the EVOLVE internet pay-per-view in Queens this past weekend.

Also, WWN's Gabe Sapolsky and Sal Hamaoui are scheduled to be backstage at WWE's NXT "Takeover: Brooklyn" event next Saturday night during SummerSlam weekend.

I can't help but think Waterford Whispers News whenever I see the letters WWN... :P

I wouldn't mind it if Waterford Whispers News began covering the weekly NXT broadcast, ha.

They'll do well to fit the entire card into two hours.

Looking forward to it. 2am start time for Ireland. Pre-show at 1.30am.
