I love Enzo and Big Cass, I really hope they do well whenever they get brought up. I certainly think they've got the charisma to do well.

They are very limited /green still in the ring, but that that aside they have their crowd interaction shtick down nicely. They are spinning their wheels a bit in NXT since their match with Blake and Murphy so id like to see a heel turn perhaps or a promotion to the main roster, though with the Dudleys back they might get lost in the shuffle if brought up now.

I think it was a huge mistake not having them wrestle live over the Brooklyn weekend, should have been them rather than the Vaudevillians IMO

Yeah, I think they should stay in NXT for a bit longer at least, the Dudley return will overshadow anyone coming up too much really.

If I was to bring up any team now it would be blake and Murphy. They can go in the ring and think they could have a series of great matches with the dudley boys

I like Enzo and Big Cass to a point but I'm not yet convinced that there act will translate to the main roster. I wonder if it could be something of an Emma situation with them. Not to quite the same level, but to some extent. I am sure that the Vaudevillains will die a death on Raw/Smackdown for similar reasons.

Not being bad but I've yet to see Enzo execute any moves convincingly. Brilliant at taking bumps and building the hot tag and Amazing on the mic but his offence is weak to non-existent

So it seems there's another development with the new signings and their past use of social media.

Nhooph Al-Areebi who signed to NXT in March was found to have previously used racist and homophobic language on her social media accounts. No word yet on how WWE will respond.

How sad are these gobsh*tes to scroll back years on someone's Twitter to find potentially offensive comments. Obviously she shouldn't have used them but come on! I think her age comes into it too. She is only 18/19 now so was probably 16 or so at the time. Who wasn't a bit of a knob at 16? I'd say I probably was.

Sadly theres plenty of people who scroll the interweb for dirt. She should have been smarter and deleted her tweets considering what happen with Havok and more recently Zahra.

Shes still very young and most likely ignorant to the bigger picture but hopefully it wont set her back

I don't even like Facebook showing me my 'Facebook memories' let alone some stranger trawling through my entire history of internet posts.

I think the worst part is because of the Zahra and Havok things, more people are going to do that stuff just so they can be the one to break the story or whatever. It's pretty pathetic, they are trying to ruin someone's career for a modicum of internet fame.

I think that's the biggest problem with NXT over the last couple of years. People on the internet think that they should almost run the show sometimes, putting signees under a microscope.

That's not just a problem for NXT that is a problem for wrestling in general.

I agree with you, but I think it is even moreso a problem with NXT as the audience is even smarter.

Its not a case of the audience being smarter, its a case of mainstream media picking it up.

I understand the bemusement with the idea people are going back through years of social media accounts and finding these things. Seem strange and maybe even vindictive.

However, I don't see how anyone can have any sympathy with these people. This is not a situation where something private has become public. In Zahra's case, for example, she's made multiple posts involving comments that were most likely meant to be racist in nature, and posted swastikas too on a public social media account. If she's got so little between her ears that she posted these in the first place and never thought to go back and delete them, she does not deserve a job in WWE.

Not every 16 year old is bright though, at 16 I know I was very naive and did stupid things (not to the extent of Nooph thankfully). However most 16 year olds learn from their mistakes and Nooph may learn from hers with a harsh lesson

I'd say it's more empathy than sympathy. Imagine getting your dream job only to have it ruined by some randomers who trawled through years of your posts to find anything that could be used to tar your image. I'm sure with most people you could find something incriminating if you search hard enough, be it a bad taste joke, badly formed opinion or an out-of-context post twisted to suit a narrative.

Do I have sympathy with Zahra - absolutely not. For starters it wasn't a one off but she also should be old enough to know better. Do I have sympathy for this new one - I honestly don't know yet as I've no idea what was said and until it's shown to me I'll be giving her the benefit of the doubt.

At least one positive to people doing this is the comedy we got for Joey Barton's recent move to Burnley :pac:

I was referring to Zahra. I do have a little sympathy with a kid like Nooph.

I'm 3 weeks behind on NXT, and am off on a sick day from work, so it's catch up time. Just finished watching the NXT Extended Special from Brooklyn after the Takeover show.

Jesus, I hate Dana Brooke. Hate isn't even a strong enough word to describe her. Why does she go round flexing the arms the whole time, when she has hardly any muscle on them at all.

Somebody better call the vet, cos them Swans are sick.

Also, the tights she wears do her no favours - did somebody skip leg day?

    The finisher was botched too.

I know they're developmental, and same goes here for Eva Marie. But they've got the most state of the art training facility with crash pads, a super bouncy ring and all that. There should be no excuse for not being about to do your finisher when the time comes.

everything about her annoys me and not in a heel but just get the hell off my tv way. even her voice annoys the hell out of me

Think i'm the only one on here that likes her :o

Green as hell but I see potential there. Plus I like her porn star voice :pac:

I don't hate Dana, I don't really feel much for her either way to be honest.

  • Registered Users Posts: 60,706 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Dana Brooke will be a pet project all the way to winning the Divas title at a Wrestlemania I think just because of her background in bodybuilding and the Arnold Classic.

Count me as someone else that likes her.

What I like about her is she brings Emma to the ring. That and the way she pats Devin on the head.

She's a competition bodybuilder. She has muscles. It doesn't come across as impressive on WWE television because she doesn't have the crazy definition year round and because in a company filled with Vince's steroid & HGH enhanced male bodybuilding monsters she looks comparatively normal, but she is very muscular. If you've seen her when she's peaked, it's undeniable, and she's done that since being on NXT TV. The below is at the Arnold Classic a couple months back.

I find her voice grates but she definitely has something, and for her experience level she's totally acceptable, bordering on good, in the ring.

Can't say I dislike her but she hasn't impressed me yet either. But I do like the head pat thing.

Carmella was another one that irritated me but I have to say she impressed me this week. Her in ring has improved a lot and she seems to have now found her character so her little dances and mannerisms make sense to me
