    I thought the exact same.

Wouldn't blame Conan for that turnover, the clear out was powder puff garbage.

The opposite, he made a lot more ground than he had any right to and got us going forward which should have made the clean out easier

Yup. And clear as day in the replay but not a word from the ref or tmo.

perhaps not a knock on but just before the try one of the players picked the ball up and drove into his own man...accidental offside

Absolute clear knock on there. Are referees blind? I cannot believe he gave that!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,077 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

That was good pressure from Leinster. Mike Mac redeeming himself there....made good ground.

Would really like to get within one score by the break. Always like to have wind in the second half but you can't rely on it to dig you out of a 2 score hole.

Leinster look really good going forward but knock-ons are killing them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,363 ✭✭✭A-Train

Clear knock on the ref didn't even look at it.

    Poor enough miss there

    Very ugly kick there...

Edit: That was awful, card coming here. Clotheslined Kearns...

Agh.....we're missing Mads off the tee.

    Has to be a yellow.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

At least a yellow there. Could be called a red.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Jaysus that was an awful attemp at a tackle.

    At least yellow

Hoeata is an absolute liability. Yellow all day.

Shocking high tackle there on Rob Kearney. He should be off.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,178 ✭✭✭Quint2010

That should be a yellow minimum

    thats red, it was deliberate

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,958 ✭✭✭✭RuggieBear

    ref thinking red

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

Debating a red. I'd think yellow.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

He does swing the arm though. Red.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

Good call by the referee. That's about as bad as a high tackle can possibly be.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,958 ✭✭✭✭RuggieBear

    red.

    swinging arm.

Red is the right decision for me. Stupid, dangerous tackle.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,474 ✭✭✭Dave_The_Sheep

Would have given yellow myself, but he can have no complaints about that red.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,658 ✭✭✭Kanrith

    Yep, red card.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,842 ✭✭✭eigrod

Correct decision. No excuses of Kearney ducking into it or the player being wrong footed.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

No touching of the hair or face. Broke the Kearney golden rule, easilly a red card.

Red.....justified. He didn't have to do that....not accidental. Very dangerous.

    Muppet

    Well done ref.

No crowd reaction tells you everything.

Yellow card, don't like seeing a red for that, Kearney running at pace made it look worse.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,178 ✭✭✭Quint2010

Deserved red. One Leinster come on!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

    No complaints really.

Leinster should nearly be thinking 4 try bonus point win already

Leinster should get the bonus point from here

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,153 ✭✭✭Glass Prison 1214

Have to say I think that's harsh, I reckon a yellow would have been the right call. Hopefully it doesn't end the game as a contest.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,363 ✭✭✭A-Train

Terrible terrible tackle, red card is the correct card.

Indeed ... and I am so sick of commentators who talk endlessly about 'intent'.

Big chance for Leinster now with extra man for more than half the match.

No, he had clear vision, he had sound footing, Kearney was only jinking slightly and didnt bob his head.

It was reckless and dangerous and apparently intentional. Red

Don't think it was intentional at all, just a bad tackle. The fact that kearney was running at full pace made the tackle look worse.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 911 ✭✭✭Irlandczyk

Well, Leinster have liked spreading the ball out from wing to wing practically all this season. There will be a lot of space to find holes now. Cut out knock ons and we have this game.

Need straighter lines, Conan running across the pitch there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,292 ✭✭✭✭Larbre34

Someone needs to get Teo to stop going into contact swinging the ball outboard like a frisbee.

    Not intentional, but dangerous.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

That was a hell of a turnover from Navidi.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,212 ✭✭✭✭Sangre

Leinster going wide too quickly. Old habits creeping in.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

Wouldn't talk about a bonus point, everyone thinks a red card makes it a cakewalk but there are countless examples of teams with red cards coping really well.
