Hi guys, I lost my garda age card last weekend and but was thinking of going out tomorrow.

I have a one of the old paper divers licences and was wondering would it work as ID?

I am 20 and 6ft3 but look quite young do you think it would work or should I wait for a new age card?

Who knows? It entirely depends on each venue. The Garda age card is the only ID that gives a licensed premises a legal defence against underage drinkers so don't be surprised if you get refused without it despite being of legal age.

to be clear are you trying to use a divers license like PADI or have you left an r out of drivers license twice?

I always use my licence. Never had any trouble, didn't bother getting an age card.

Provisional or full? Most fakes are provisionals

It was easy enough to make yourself a year or two older with the provisionals which was why most fake ids were provisionals. Places copped on and stopped accepting them for id

I've never been refused with a full licence in Ireland. I've had a doorman in Leeds ask if I made it myself, though.
