    1/16 Impact Wrestling:

MVP's crew comes out for a promo. MVP said that they are the Beatdown Clan. They aren't the same blood but they are bonded by the blood they have spilled in he business, going back to their days in the independents in Florida. He said that Eric Young isn't part of the Clan but he wanted to introduce him as Young has something he wants to say. Young cut a long promo about how he gave Roode a shot when he was champion but Roode never gave him one and he was deserving. He then claimed when he was hurt and hospitalized defending Roode, all he got from Bobby was a text message. So, he took what Roode loved most, the World title and will continue taking everything he loves. MVP hen introduced new TNA champ Bobby Lashley, who did not come out. Instead out came Kurt Angle. He cut a promo and said Bobby Roode was going to kick Young's ass. Angle called The Clan a bunch of thugs. Samoa Joe got in his face and Angle nailed him.

*Samoa Joe defeated Kurt Angle via choke after a ref bump and a low kick. The Beatdown Clan hit the ring and put the boots to Angle, Four Horsemen style. Bobby Roode hit therein with a steel chair to make the save and ran them off.

*Bobby Roode cut a promo in the ring. He said he's been trying to keep his composure but Eric Young already went too far with what he said. Roode said tonight isn't about pro wrestling and he's going to make Young pay.

*The Hardy Boys defeated The Wolves in a great back and forth match. James Storm's Revolution were in the balcony watching.

*Eric Young pinned Bobby Roode after a piledriver on a chair in a entertaining brawl. MVP came out and cut a promo knocking Roode and saying he was going to have to go the hospital and he's sorry about that, but they had a World championship celebration with Lashley later to worry about.

*The Beautiful People defeated Brooke Tessmacher & Taryn Terrell after Love hooked the tights as Robbie E. Distracted Brooke. The lights went out and Awesome Kong was in the ring behind the BP. She laid them and DJ Zema Ion out. Havok came out and they had a face off until security stepped in.

*Low Ki pinned Austin Aries to regain the TNA X-Division championship in a good match after Kenny King interfered.

*The Beatdown Clan came out for the championship celebration. MVP said they are the talk of the world and now the World title has come home. Lashley came out. MVP took credit for his success and said the title belongs to all of them. Lashley said he's he champ and the title belongs to only him. MVP said they protect him and he's about family. Lashley said that's not what he's about, MVP tried to convince him and Lashley warned him to take his hands off him, or else. MVP said if it was anyone else, he wouldn't be forgiven but Lashley helped him in that other company and they go way back so he will accept they are going to walk different paths. He hugs Lashley and gives him the kiss of death and they all destroy the champion. MVP says the title doesn't belong to Lashley but the Beatdown Clan. They take the belt. End of episode.

    Impact January 23rd:

*Gail Kim defeated Havok by DQ in a short but fun brawl. Havok kept beating on her and the lights went out and Kong appeared. They had a short brawl.

*Shera pinned Tigre Uno. James Storm cut a promo in his bout against Matt Hardy later tonight.

*Feast or Fired: Samuel Shaw, Crazzy Steve, The Bromans, Rockstar Spud, Gunner, The Wolves, Bram, Magnus, Austin Aries. Velvet Sky helped Robbie E get one of the briefcases. Rockstar Spud gets the second case. Austin Aries gets number three. Magnus got the fourth.

*EC3 vs. Jeremy Borash (not a typo). Carter tried to announce his own match as he's wrestling but JB tells him he can't announce and drills him with the mic. JB gets some offense in but it wiped out. Spud tries to help but Tyrus gets involved. British Bootcamp 2 winner Mark Andrews gets involves and hits some big highspots to run off EC3 and Tyrus.

*Matt Hardy pinned James Storm in a good match. Abyss attacked Hardy after and pulled out Janice but Jeff Hardy hit the ring with a chair. Jeff challenged Abyss to a Monster's Ball match next week.

*Low Ki and Eric Young defeated Kurt Angle and Bobby Roode after distraction from Beatdown Clan.

*Bobby Lashley came out and demanded his title get returned. Kenny King came out and cut a promo. Lashley told him to get the belt or they were go into fight. along said he would fight but invited the Beatdown Clan to come watch. MVP had the belt with him as if he was champion. Beatdown Clan interfered for the DQ and attacked Lashley, Bobby Roode and Kurt Angle hit the ring for the save.

*They announced tomorrow's Lockdown Taping is sold out.

    Impact January 30th:

*Bobby Roode came out with the TNA title belt. He said it pains him but it doesn't belong to him. He promises to spill Eric Young's blood and calls out Bobby Lashley. Roode gave the belt back to him and challenged for a title shot. They agreed to do it tonight. Austin Aries came out and revealed he won the Feast or Fired briefcase for the World title shot and teased cashing in. MVP came out and issued a challenge. Lashley told Aries he could keep his briefcase and said he would defend against everyone tonight. This set up Roode vs. Lashley vs. MVP vs. Aries for later on.

*TNA Knockouts champ Taryn Terrell defeated Gail Kim and Madison Rayne. Hard worked and some good action.

*Tommy Dreamer came out and called out Eric Young. Dreamer tried to tell him that he's making a mistake. He said Eric rose from a nothing joke to the TNA champion because the people supported him and he knows better. Dreamer said that he's had people turn on him and even behind the scenes it sucks and he warned Young to think twice and not turn his back on Roode and the fans. Young said Dreamer is a good guy but all that's gotten him is a chance to be a fat loser from NYC. Dreamer said all of this is because of a title shot he was never offered and asked Young if he even asked Roode for one. Young attacked him and hit a piledriver on Dreamer. He attacked a ringside attendant and stole their chair but Bobby Roode made the save and backed off Young.

*Jeff Hardy pinned Abyss in a very entertaining Monster's Ball. Lots of weapons and crazy bumps. The Revolution hit the ring and attacked Jeff but Matt made the save. He was soon overwhelmed but The Wolves made the save. Jeff sunset flip power bombed Abyss off the ropes onto thumbtacks and hit a Swanton for the pin. Great stuff.

*Mark Andrews and Rockstar Spud defeated The BroMans. They were going to wrestle EC3 and Tyrus but Carter swerved them. Tyrus and Carter attacked them after.

*Bobby Lashley pinned Austin Aries to win a Four way and retain the TNA title. Great match. Eric Young attacked Roode to eliminate him from the match. After the pin, The Beatdown Clan Horne scene and attacked but Gunner and Kurt Angle made the save. They went back and forth with promos to set up Lockdown. This set up Angle and Gunner and Aries vs. The BDK after Lashley said he stands on his own and wasn't going to be on either side.

    TNA LOCKDOWN 2015

*Tyrus defeated Rockstar Spud and Mark Andrew in a handicap match. EC3 provoked Andrews to try and get at him outside the cage, but Andrews opened the door, EC3 but gave him a leg sweep and Andrews crashed and burned on the ring steps. It was brutal. Spud went to help but Carter slammed the cage door in his face. Tyrus pinned Spud. Carter went to shave Spud's head but Jeremy Borash cut the wire on the plug. Carter chased Borash into the crowd.

*Awesome Kong pinned Havok with a splash off the ropes. Good.

*TNA Tag Team champions The Revolution defeated The Hardy Boys. Matt was pulled through the cage's camera opening by Shea and beaten on the outside. Jeff went to the ropes but Sanada blew mist into the cage and blinded him, allowing James Storm to nail the Last Call superkick for the pin. Matt was put through a table on the floor. Jeff was going to put through a table in the ring after the bell. Jeff escaped the table and Manik went through it. Jeff tried to escape the cage but was crotched on the top of the door and knocked off after a cowbell shot, going off the top of the cage door and landing on the ring steps. It looked brutal. Jeff was carried out, presumably as a way explain why he's not on the UK shows. As he was being carried out, James Storm attacked him. Matt went after him but was DDT'd on the floor. They put a lot of heat on The Revolution with this segment.

*MVP, Kenny King and Eric Young called out Kurt Angle, Gunner and Austin Aries. MVP tried to get Angle's team to walk away and forget the match. This leads to them all brawling in the cage. Low Ki and Samoa Joe hit the scene and take out Gunner by slamming his arm with a chair while it was trapped in the cage door. So, the idea is they took out a member of Team Angle before the match even started.

*Brooke Tessmacher defeated a Robbie E. in an Amazing Race. This was supposed to be a cage match but instead E challenged her to a race. They ran down the ramp, climbed the cage, then escaped and returned up the ramp. As silly as the premise was, they did a good job with this and the highlight was Brooke hitting a rana off the top onto E. in the ring. She actually did a hell of a job selling her knee too.

*Bobby Roode pinned Eric Young. Young was busted open during the bout. Long bout.

*Lethal Lockdown -Team Angle vs. The Beatdown Klan. Kenny King and Gunner were first. Third out was Low Ki, so BDK won the coin toss in order to build the drama. Fourth in was Austin Aries. Fifth was Samoa Joe. Sixth was Kurt Angle. Seventh was MVP. The idea was Angle had no final guy and finally Lashley came out. Weapons were used throughout as opposed to at the end, Lashley tried to make peace with BDK and then clotheslined him. He cleaned house but was overtaken by the BDK. Lashley speared and pinned MVP as the other trapped their opponents in submission holds. Good ending. Lashley and Aries teased heat after the match, as Aries acted like he was going to cash in his briefcase but eventually Angle brought peace and they shook hands. Everyone celebrated their win as the BDK promised this wasn't over.

It does at least seem to get a little better as they go on. And I like seeing Gunner mixing it up higher up the card instead of with Sam Shaw.
