Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why are the Liverpool fans on here happy? A draw here is best surely?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Had to get that on target

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,610 ✭✭✭IncognitoMan

Our use of di maria today was useless. I know what van Gaal was trying to do with a bit of pace up top but he's far more useful further back. He ended up looking very poor because of it

    A ridiculous miss

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,688 ✭✭✭Nailz

Blind's a ****ing genius. Stop missing those Mata!!

  • Well **** how did ya miss that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,594 ✭✭✭kingshankly

Injured I'd say. Rooney up top will be good I reckon.
Badly miss falcao though. It's hard to see where we are going to get a goal to be honest.

    Mata should score there

Probably thinking Southampton are more likely to drop points in the future than United. Looking less and less likely they will fall away to be honest

Because their lives are complete when united lose.

    Sad really.

Blind has whipped in some lovely crosses.

Prob but the wheels will start to come off the United bus big time without CL football. It would be a disaster for them to not be in it for a second season.

I look forward seeing Valencia gone from the club

Yeah it's ridiculous. We need the Saints to draw or lose.

We don't have CL this year and the wheels are still on the bus. Funny how Liverpool fans pray for us to get worse instead of them to get better.

Yes, I didn't mean all of them, I meant then ones that are happy, as that was the question you asked.

Stop will ya. I doubt there isn't one Liverpool at the moment that hopes Liverpool won't improve. I can only see one Liverpool poster on here happy with this score.

Mata has got to hit the target with one of them chances

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,037 ✭✭✭✭niallo27

Well utd losing brings them back into the group. I'd much prefer utd to lose. I don't think Southampton can maintain this form.

Does anyone really care what any Liverpool supporter thinks of a United - Southampton game?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,224 ✭✭✭✭SantryRed

Pretty much the exact same as the last time the two met, except Southampton are a little more cautious. United haven't got the luck that they got at St. Mary's. Southampton are gonna mount a real challenge on these CL Spots.

When they cut Fellaini's hair they cut his source of power.

Its funny how even if I don't quote any of the Liverpool fans talking ****e at the end of the match thread who suddenly appear when were one down yet you get a little bit obsessive and still call me out

At least kerrigooney is having a genuine input but the rest pfff

What group? The imaginary group in your head? Ok.

Whatever you think about them after a poor few games of results and performances they are now within 5 points of us. We have allowed others to close the gap too.

We have RvP, Rooney and Falcao. Its not a new striker we need, its a formation that works/makes sense we need!

Sir Alex must have slipped the time guy a few quid, squeaky bum time.

I agree. Win lose or draw today, Southampton will struggle to be in forth come May. It might be more ambitious from a Liverpool perspective but I'd have thought it makes more sense to drag United back into it and potentially open up 2 spots.

Either way it's still stupid to want Southampton to win, it makes no sense in any way, shape or form!

Even if you don't want to include liverpool. Arsenal and Spurs are only a point behind.

I wanted Southampton to beat Arsenal for the very same reason. I think its more likely that by the seasons end Arsenal will be in the top 4 rather than Southampton
