Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

And Giroud got away with raising his hands in this game

    Nothing at all similar

    Bojan is a class act.

Arsenal a bit lucky there! Free shot at goal.

In the interest of balance, its the sort of "push the player out of play" shove you see every weekend. I dare say I've seen Mertesacker do it in a German shirt before. It just led to an injury this time.

He knew what he was doing, it's been done b4 and players have done it pushing def onto keeper a lot of the time it's more dangerous than a tackle

    Arsenal that's terrible.

Oh he absolutely did know what he was doing. But lets not go overboard here. He didn't shoot him. We see that carry on every weekend. This isn't some evil "stoke only" tactic.

    Is this ref serious.

Have we even gotten a free kick yet?

Makes it ok so- he didn't shoot him.

Says a lot that ref hasn't shown them as much as a yellow so far

Stop being a precious little child. Ofcourse it doesn't make it okay. But it also makes it common as muck and getting your panties in a bunch just perpetuates the arsenal stereotype.

Nope they have many evil versions of the same tactic with same results most time

    2-0 get in

Pushing someone in the back into an advertising hoarding under the refs nose isn't common as muck.

    Anyway, two nil, nice.

Wonderful stuff from Alexis, wouldn't be ciriticising defenders there it was just unstoppable, it was that good.

Do my eyes deceive me or is Monreal wearing a girdle........or rib protector? :p

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,333 ✭✭✭bad2dabone

    No Giroud raising his hands

Yeah, probably. He was lucky that the ref didn't spot it.

But did you see Adam choke alexis? It was comically blatant. Couldn't believe it didn't get a card.

    No Giroud raising his hands

What did he do with these raised hands?

If that's a penalty than we may aswell all go home and start watching Basketball.....because clearly we want to watch a non contact sport.

Eh? Contact about 4 yards from the ball is a foul.
