Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I was cleaning my bike today and noticed that there is only a spring on one side of the skewer.

Do I need a spring on both sides, does it make any difference?

They make putting on the wheels a little easier.
    They are not necessary.
You should have one on either side.
Use either none or two, per wheel.

Great so it should fully offset the 2 stone I gained over Christmas and I don't need to loose that now?????

Only if you lose the other 3 springs.

The springs are there to keep both sides of the skewer to the side, basically to make it easier to put the wheel back in. You'll find wheel changes easier with the spring, but nothing bad will happen if you don't have springs.
