How long for payment to Lloyds Sterling Account?

I am due to receive a payment from a BOI account, in the UK transactions occur almost instantaneously, however this transfer has now taken 3 working days, can I expect it to hit the account tomorrow? Why is this electronic transfer so slow? Thanks

A payment to Lloyds can take up to two working days, depending on whether you made the transfer before our cut-off time of 4.30pm from a Sterling Bank of Ireland account. If you have not received this transfer to your Lloyds account, please call Bank of Ireland 365 on 0845 736 5555 and a representative can check this for you. Our representatives are available 8am to midnight Monday to Friday and 9am to 6pm on weekends.
