Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just wondering, is there an internet café in Carlow? I know there is probably something in the library etc. but is there anything available to the public outside of office hours?

Not sure there is an internet cafe as such but there are some kiosks upstairs in fairgreen.

Most pubs and hotels/cafes etc. have wifi these days for customers also.

Yeah, but they're those coin-operated standalone kiosks you used to find in pubs and other places years ago. They're located upstairs between the toilets and the lift. They have nothing to do with the café itself so you can't sit down, relax and use them. No privacy, no printers. Not even worth considering imo.

Ok, cheers for that. So no cafés where gamer go and hang out and play online? Normally have a few PC's for people to get online there.

Don't think there is any in town now. But there is loads of places with free Wi Fi around town. If you have a club card for tesco you can go for coffee up stairs and it still picks the Wi Fi up from there

If you're that desperate go into McDonald's, get yourself a €1 burger and use their WiFi :pac:
