Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

One of the rads in my bedroom isnt working properly, I have 2 rads in the sitting room and if I turn one off the bedroom rad starts working. Do I need the system balanced? Will adjusting the lock shield valve on either of those rads do?

A little more detail on the setup wouldn't hurt :)
Age, heating type, open or closed system how many floors in house etc etc
Two rads in a bedroom: why?

Its more than 10 years old, oil fired, not sure if its open or closed, how can i tell? It has a small tank in the attic. Its a bungalow, one floor. the previous owner installed extra rads in the main bedroom and sitting room, he must have been cold!

Rads need to be balanced. Search for posts on balancing rads in this forum.
