Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ziegler is only ranked 747th in the world. So that's just the 38,000 places between us.

I do have a chance though. I'll need Eriksen stay quiet. I'll have to hope my probable Yaya to Silva transfer works out and I'll need Sturridge to bang in a couple of goals for me.

It would be one hell of a giant killing!

MNF this week won't be fun viewing for me with no one and your Coutinho+Studge. It will be a very bad start to both my GW and this tie if Austin and Punch blank in the 1245 kickoff.

Up against PARlance. I have a 90k lead in the OR but of course that means nothing in a cup tie.

Probably more to do with impatient boards.ie posters and the demand on getting a draw up for them! ;)

Current rankings mean nothing so please TaytoCrisps don't come on here suggesting it's David V Goliath;)

You have a better team than me and much more money.

It's going to be very difficult for me to progress here.

More worried about the amount of weeks you have a higher score than I do over the last 10 weeks, hopefully form doesn't come into it !

With a ranking off 22k you'd think there wouldn't be too many higher but it seems everyone I've played so far is above me

Nope, next round is fully open. I will try to keep teams who have already played apart though.

Tough draw against jebforever who has had 6 greens in the last 8 and is up to 3.7k. Our combined ORs are less than 4k!!

We would have drawn in the last GW.

I'm sure everyone that everyone is already a member, but FantasyFootballFix have just released their "Rivals" feature. Just put in your rivals Team Id and it'll show you your H2H during the gameweek and highlight differentials.

I know there's an app for this too, but this is web-based so is pretty handy

We're closer than it looks, our teams are very similar with identical midfields and few differences in backs or forwards. You're on the up with 4 consecutive green arrows whereas I only halted the slide last GW after 4 consecutive red arrows.

Looks like it'll be close, good luck.

My Terry, Wolly (or Naughton), Puncheon, Eriksen, and Austin v G1032's Bellerin, Cawson, Coutinho, Yaya, and Studge. Hopefully Punch and Austin can give me a nice head start in the early match.

So at 16:00 on Saturday it's Ziegler ahead in the first leg of our tie. His 1 point is enough to give him a 2 point lead!

I'd much rather be in your position though with one more player than me and more attackers.

At the quarter-way mark of this two-legged tie, I have 15 with 5 to play and Futureguy has 12 (-4) with 5 to play. Both of us have Boyd if a mid/forward doesn't play.

It's like Chelsea playing against Chelsea.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,830 ✭✭✭✭dahat

    qwabercd (226872) vs Dahat (35074)

23 - 12 behind but qwabercd only has Kane and Hazard left whereas I have those two plus Bertrand,Ivanovic,Eriksen and Sturridge.

Hoping to have some sort of advantage going into second leg.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,502 ✭✭✭spock.

    Now it looks like:
    Me: Ivanovic Eriksen Sterling
    PARlance: Clyne Jones(or 1pt) +5

A big score from Ivan would make a huge difference in this tie.

    Edit: Feckin Jones clean sheet.
Need 7 pts from Sterling to get a draw from the 1st leg.

Sturridge hits the post from a Coutinho pass. When your luck is out your luck is out.

Edit: Sturridge 'assist' counts!! It's not quite the 10 points I'd have gotten if he scored when he hit the post but I'll take it. When your luck is in your luck is in! :)

    spock 21(25-4) V PARlance 26(30-4)

I'm looking at another hit this week so essentially 9 points down. Going to be tough to go through now.

richiefff leads me 33 28 going into the 2nd leg. If foster is injured he will have no gk next week. My defence is marginally better if wolly is fit. Captain choice will more than likely win it.

29 apiece given Stuuridge's dodgy assist.

All to play for in the second leg....

9 point deficit. In true Arsenal style, I'll probably lose the tie by one point.

Worst bloody transfer of the season getting foster in, and I'd agree with your defence being much better, rest of the team is very similar

    I lead Hackers 34 - 26 at half time.

He has Myhill as back up to Foster, I have Hamer(:o).

Zero points from no keeper could be better than sending Myhill out to face City. :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,969 ✭✭✭✭alchemist33

I scored 28 to Futureguy's 24 (-4). A narrow lead and FG has enough big player differentials to pull it back.

Similar enough teams so going be close- be harsh if that Sturidge assist decides it

You actually have a 9 point (not 5) lead because I've taken a -4 hit again this week.

I think it comes down to this:

Me: Ozil Eriksen Mane(x2) Forster Bertrand Ivanovic

An early Aguero blank would give me a fighting chance!

Looks to be tight between dahat and me, probably slight edge to dahat with Costa over Austin. How many points am I behind from last week? 3ish?
