Toyota releasing 5'600 fuel cell patents

The small print is "until 2020". It will take that long to get a substantial number of fuel-cell vehicles on the road - including rolling out H2 "gas pumps". The population of fuelling stations would probably increase the availability of H2 supplies along the autobahn/route/strada/pista/M'way networkw, as a result of proliferation of brands selling H2.

Any manufacturer depending on any of these patents would then be faced with a monopoly owner of the technology and who knows what fees. A few version of Freemium.
