Activate Vodafone sims without topping up?

    Mine expired, can I activate a new one without topping up?

    If you want to get your number back active you dont need a sim.

    If you want a new sim card it will be active already but you will lose your number.

    o2 dont require topups to keep the account active, just a chargeable transaction once every 6 months if that helps, might be better porting to them.

    I'll order an o2 sim, but can you activate it online for free and receive texts once you do so?
