Anyone know about the electrics on the Hymer a 2009 model?

How do you get out the batteries under the seats?

When you plug in the external power are you charging one or both, starter and leisure?

What voltage reading to you need to be able to start the engine - a Ford?

    many thanks

    You remove the seat.
battery should be minimum 12.7 or so at rest.
Usually charging leisure, with sometimes a tiny trickle to the engine.

    Thanks Aidan_M_M.

Does that mean that if the leisure is charged then the starter battery will take the input from the mains?

Should be, but you can generally get away with 12.4V at rest or lower if it's warm.

If it drops below 9.5V while cranking it's not long for this world.

No idea but the easiest way to find out it stick a voltmeter on the starter battery plug in your charger and if the voltage rises then charger does both if it doesn't charger just does the house bank.
I'd be very dubious it changes from one bank after the other, never seen a charger do that.
