Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Are Cyclists exempt from yield rules on roundabouts

Twice in the last few weeks, once in Clonmel, once outside Mitchelstown I've seen a large group of cyclists just sail through a roundabout blatantly ignoring yield right of way. Luckily both times the traffic coming from their right stopped. Very dangerous I would say, whats going on? Why such disregard for the rules of the road?

    No, they are not exempt.

The usual thing with a group is that the group as a whole will yield or the group as a whole will go through. I think the idea is that the group is treated as a single vehicle but this is not enshrined in law and it relies on driver consideration.
