    Had €40 win on Warfare 6.40 Wol. @ 5/2

He dead-heated and was disqualified .

The bookies rules is FPP and official winner .

    Will I get paid 40 @5/2 ?

40@ 5/4 I think. FPP and half the odds for DH.

I think with most bookies it is half your stake, so you will have €20 @ 5/2. It is less of a payout than if you were given half the odds.

    Yep exactly , was expecting €90 , but got €70 .

if Warfare had won I would have got €140 , so ended up with half

Same here but those who bet on Warfare get nothing on Betfair.

U wont get paid if his disqualified. A lot of bookies dont pay full odds on dead heats

Dead heat is a racket, they half your stake instead of the odds so for a DH on 100 @ 2/1 they pay out 150 (50 * 2/1 + 50) whereas if its half the odds it pays out 200 (100 * 1/1 + 1).

By halfing the stake they hit you twice, once at the calculation and again giving your "stake" back.
