Cigarettes amount from Portugal

I am going to Portugal in the summer and just want to know if I kept all receipts from my cigarettes and bought 800 in the resort and then 800 in the faro airport in duty free as there the same price could the customs do anything? Thanks in advance :)

I would be keeping the ones I buy in resort in checked bag and the ones I buy in the airport in my hand luggage

It doesn't matter where you buy each 800 or how you pack them: 1600 is 1600. If you have the receipts and they're all the same brand you should be OK, but if customs think you might be a smuggler then you could have a problem.
