eBay completed listings? Does it mean they were bought from ebay.ie?

If an item has been listed on .co.uk and .ie does that mean the sold product could have been sold on the UK website even though I'm checking from .ie?

    Thanks.

Yes when listing on .com .co.uk etc you can set it to show up internationally so anyone viewing through .ie will see it. A lot of Irish sellers use .co.uk just because the traffic is so much higher.

Sorry, I'm actually looking at completed listings to get a idea of how many items are selling; that are being bought by "Irish" users only....?

    Sorry for not being clear!

Hmmm not sure I guess if you are logged into .ie it will only give you a history of what is sold on the .ie. You would assume it worked that way! Just because its listed on .ie doesn't mean it couldn't have sold to someone who wasn't Irish though. Might get a better response in the Online buying & auction forum.

Ok thanks for that. I've just posted it over there! :)

I buy specialised interest stuff on ebay, both .ie and .co.uk and I would say that there is no way the "units sold" on the .ie site by UK vendors could be achieved in Ireland alone!! I believe it is the vendors domicile that sets the record. The same is true for .com stuff from the US that you see listed on the .ie site.
