    Does anyone know what are some good clubs to join in NUIG? I never really got involved in clubs/societies.

    The Kayak club is hands down the best club in NUIG! I joined in first year and have never left. Everyone is so nice and accepting and really easy to talk to. If getting wet and coldish isn't your thing I'd recommend the Mountaineering club as well. Climbing is great craic and their hikes on Sunday are amazing! Both clubs have weekly nights out as well where it's much easier to get to know the members.

    I'm quite involved with both clubs though so I'm slightly biassed :P
