Had a Redmond newly constructed house before in Marlton Demesne, built to a high standard and had no issues bar the normal chasing for updates through the build.
The Marlton developments are fine from a location perspective, far enough from the town that you don't get 'casual' visitors, but Marlton Hall is a decent trek away.
I would check the road management plans, M Hall could become a rat run for the other estates for access to and from the relief road.

Thanks BeepBeep, oh is there a through road planned for Marlton Hall to the outer ring road? currently you need to drive up through Marlton Road to get there?

The estate agents are v.difficult to contact, never ring back and have v.little information, I guess the property market is making a comeback and they have become super important again ;)

Glad to hear your house was built to a good standard, that's reassuring. We are renting in Wicklow at the moment and it seems like a lovely town, going to join some clubs now to meet new people.

    .

Have a look at recent property price changes. The prices are dropping and have been for the past 2 months or so.

Cerco, prices look same as advertised for marlton hall on property price register?

Are they new houses or part of existing Marlton estate?
Most second hand properties are dropping.
Other thing to keep in mind is that the price register is 2 to 3 months behind the market due to conveyancing. The recent price changes would not show up there immediately. Better to wath " recent price changes" on MyHome.ie for upto date pricing.
