    Lorcan is clearly a Marxist

Only RTE would give him unchallenged air time

Lorcan who? Syrup did he say? Just curious where's he coming from. Is he running in the election?

Ah, when Lorcan was presented with a valid argument (a text Ray read out) against his mad ideas he dismissed it by playing dumb, 'I don't really know what that's about'

    An absolute spoofer

Yeah, caught that alright - a wee pause and shrug of the shoulders!

I was just about to post the exact same thing. The callers point was that if you give people houses with no effort involved on their part, then everybody who is working for their own house will just say "f**k this" and they will lean on the state as well. But having had D'Arcy licking his boots for the last half hour he was interested in indulging a dissenting voice.

Yes , the moral hazard of providing easy free housing with no stigma.

(Ray never challenged Lorcan on the lie that social housing comes with no stigma in other countries, communities maybe but not countries, if he believes that he's a very naive man

Lorcan Sirr an ivory tower academic who professionally is dependent on tax payers and other loser organisations

He's undeservingly gaining a lot of platforms for his inverted snob Marxist spoofery

Why do they give this idiot interesting people to interview. Dr Omalu will mean nothing to most of you. Course he wont ray you muppet. I knew about this chap and the NFL concussion issue. He assumes nobody would know. Because he doesnt. Only on now coz Will Smith is playing him in a film.

To be fair, saying "X will nothing to most of you..." about someone who specialises in a niche area of a niche sport isn't "assuming nobody would know", it's assumng (probably rightly so) that most people wouldn't know.

I only know about the concussion stuff in NFL because I listen to Second Captains. Other than that, I'd have very little idea of what's going on. And, if I have heard the name Omalu before, it definitely has registered with me because if you hadn't mentioned concussion, I'd have no idea what you were talking about.

HAVING SAID THAT, if Ray's interview with this person was badly researched, then that's inexcusable. However, beginning an interview with an intro like that seems fair to me.

He's entitled to his views, probably some germs of truth in all the hyperbole and waffle. But not entirely convinced that he should be given a platform to present them virtually unopposed on 'national radio'.

Me too, was amazed with that reaction from the good Doctor.

D'Arcy didn't take him up on it.

Ray being a dick again about Kenny, the dail was resolved, what more does he want?

Putting a poster up to wish a GAA team good luck is considered littering as well and is also against the law.

Seems personal with him, maybe upset he was snubbed by them when he approached them volunteering to run in an election for them.

    Ray has failed big time

Turned it into a conversation of

    - Ray's fascination with transsexuals
    - Personal Fitness
    - Abortion

I keep saying it. This is where he falls down on this slot.

People who listen know it's the genitive case.

    Way of doing things.
