If the revolution hadn't happened, Ray would probably now be working for the backwater radio station known as BBC Dublin and he certainly wouldn't be getting paid half a million a year. Ray should be kinda thankful that it did happen.......

Used to be the same on TodayFM, would say "Good morning" just before first song, after paper roundup.

Yeah, you can just hear Ray saying to himself, god this really sounds professional.... before he misses the button for the song he's trying to play.

I didn't listen to Gerry Ryan, but didn't he do something very similar? Usen't he do the papers then say something like "[phone number] The Ryan Line is open!" then play a song?



Doesn't really matter that much anyway I guess. I always felt it worked well for Ray on Today FM. Gave the message "Right, we've done the papers, now let's get thisshow on the road!"

This lady has the same rights and entitlements as every other citizen in the country. She is being accommodated as best the state can provide at the present. What else can be done and why would she get extra rights above others?
