€50 million quid a year on hotels for a bunch of layabouts. Give them nothing and see how many actually end up on the streets.

The rates of 'homelessness' are insignificant when compared to a population of nearly 1.5m in Dublin.

You can guarantee the social houses won't be built next door to D'arcy and his like. It'll be the rest of us poor unfortunates who actually have to work and pay/mortgage rent every month that are lumbered with the scruffs and scobies.

Must be nice alright to be put up in a free hotel paid for by you and me, no questions asked...have to laugh this "I'm homeless" rubbish. No you're not, you have a roof over your head. If you want a place of your own go buy it or rent like the rest of us gob****es have to.
And who forced to have a kid? More rubbish and evasion of responsibility - she had a kid, it's her (and the da's) role and responsibility to bring up the child ie. feed, cloth and shelter the child. This is not the taxpayers role (yet again). Ray Darcy is a champagne socialist, playing up to this crap. It's a long time since I heard an interview on radio make me so mad and despairing as to where we are headed as a nation....oh I wonder who's paying her fees in Trinners?? Two guesses to that...she's 30, what exactly has she been at the past 12 years or so? Apart from leeching off the taxpayer...

When it was rightly suggested she move her self entitled ass to somewhere more affordable like Donegal her answer was "I'm sure there's plenty of people in Donegal "homeless" too". Why is that even up for discussion? You clearly can't afford to live where you want, you have no career or means to make money so really that's holding you there is convenience and inertia...
Here in Kilkenny I'd love to live on College road or Granges road or other fancier parts of town...but I can't afford to quite yet so I'm living where I can afford...
