Up the Sydney Rose, this one Cora seems to be trying to dictate what people should and shouldn't talk about. If this lady wanted to talk about repealing the 8th amendment on the stage of the Rose of Tralee, she is perfectly entitled to do that.

She was a bit naive coming on debate the topic with a seasoned campaigner like Cora Sherlock. Cora, whether you agree with her or not, knows all the arguments and counter arguments. Outside of her populist publicity stunt the other night, I'd doubt that the Sydney Rose has done much else to realise "her dream", and really wasnt the best person to debate the topic.

Interesting that The Ray D'Arcy Show is now introducing balance to such topics. That would have never happened if Ray were hosting the show. :D

Probably nothing electronic in the Golf.

Not a push button start anyways, that's for sure.

Speaking from POV of someone who is self employed for many years, I'd reckon that self help guru is all about self help alright - helping loads of gullible people to buy his book and help his bank balance! Not that there's anything wrong with running your own business in Ireland, lots of people do it but there are major pros and cons. The most significant being that your only ever as good as your last customer. Having an idea is all good & well, but persuading people to buy it year after year and pay you for it is another entirely. Balance that against little or zero support from the state and you'll soon see why the public purse would like many unemployed Irish people to start their own business. Not a thing to be taken lightly.. Mr.Guru. Take a hike back to Bali.

The same chap who STILL can't get the buttons right and introduced the last ad break with "I just need to press that button there, and that one....".

Jaysus they may as well have gotten Ray to read the Irish language news for all the mistakes he's making.

Just tuned in today, I like the way Karl Spain finished off the show, when someone complimented on Elaine Crowley should be snapped up by RTE & whether Karl knew what he'd said or not, was hilarious :p

Listening to him introduce the news is painful. He clearly isn't comfortable doing it. It would be better if he introduced it in English.
A perfect example of someone who presumably did Irish at school for X years yet it sound like Norwegian. Sad.

I think Crowley is trying to mooch a job in RTE by doing this gig.

D'Arcy is such an ignoramus. You can tell by this interview that he's done absolutely ZERO research for it.
