Is it Baz Ashmawy? If so, his entire profile (mostly snapchat, apparently, being over 30, I don't even know how to turn the snapchat on...) nowadays centers around his kids and parenting and his "following" is very much parents, mostly women in their mid-30s/early-40s.

    A bit like Ray.

Yep, that's the one. I wasn't aware of his profile, since I'm not down with the Snapchat kids either, but it makes sense.

Still, he's a damn sight better than the porridge proselytizer fiddling with the wrong buttons *sigh*... haaaaa... I dunno..."

    He's cheerful anyway.

I find him worse than Ray (if that's possible). His smarmyness just gets to me. I'm listening to Connemara Community Radio until 4:30.

I don't find him smarmy, but haven't listened to him regularly enough to have a strong opinion either way.

I do think he sounds very natural on radio. By that I mean, less rehearsed and more fluent than other presenters. He's not afraid to apparently speak from the top of his head; it's both engaging and conversational, which is vital for good talk radio.

I liked that opening segment with the kid. It isn't nearly as annoying when Baz gets parental.

Stay another week in Ballhheigue, Ray.
