Tom Dunne and Ray both annoy the hell out of me, yesterday Ray discussed his son trying to win over a girl in school . if he is anything like his father he will be a disaster with women - that's why he married so late and ended up with Ms Kelly . he will probably tell the girl how great women are and how ashamed he is to be male.

His Dr. Bill skits had their moments back in the day.

His Dr. Bill stuff was some of the most awful cringe inducing nauseating attempts at humour that my ears have ever been pierced with. He’s a multi talentless tosser with an ego the size of a small planet for reasons that no one can understand...delusional doesn’t come close enough to describing him. Reminds me of a skinny David Brent.

his other half - 2nd wife - is a dose - from Kilkenny but more like Dalkey accent.

I'm not surprised because the show is sh!te. It's 75 % women with misery stories, 24 % promoting RTE and public service announcements and 1% entertainment.

Ray finally beat Ronan Collins in the JNLR figures!

    2 thousand more than him!

What was Derek Mooney's final figure before he left?

not sure, but probably lower than D'Arcys , even now. D'Arcy would have brought a good few listeners from Today Fm with , but those numbers seem to be falling away now.

I used always leave Radio 1 on after Live Line, as Derek's show was light hearted and easy to listen to. Not a hope could I listen to any of D'Arcys show, I don't fancy being as depressed as him for the rest of my day.

Have to say I leave Rte R1 off for a lot of the time these days, every programme seems to have as its 'hook' some tragedy of illness or attack on people.

From Tubridy to ORourke ,Liveline and D'arcy....endless jolts of misery.

The Bren would prefer to chose a few podcasts for entertainment.

Thanks to dire broadcasting on Rte I discovered the podcasts thread on boards. I'd recommend Case file but it's full of death! No doubt Joe is aware of it though.

Jesus Darcy let her in peace. You have her haunted for your own gratification, just like Duffy.

It makes me sick to see D'Arcy becoming the self designated champion of the campaign against incompetence in the HSE. If there was a similar campaign against incompetence in RTE, he would be out the f**king door. He gets more money than any of these medical people and he can't hit a f**king button on the desk.

Joe and Ray love being friend of the common man, despite them both being champagne socialists/millionaires.
