    Despite the big sponsorship deal.
Is he giving away a car?

How many times has he mentioned 'my wife Jenny' or 'Jenny my wife' today? I used to like Ray, but the last couple of years have gone downhill. Thought it might be new station, new show, but it's the same show on a different station. Maybe if he let Jenny & Will speak properly on air it might help...

    Me too.

Listened to the first hour of the show and tbh it's very much a "fans of the genre will enjoy" type deal. Fans of the Today FM show will like it, those that didn't will flock to this thread to recycle unfunny jokes as often as Ray recycles unfunny comedian guests.

I was expecting more fanfare if I'm honest, but really the first hour today wasn't terrible. More of one of Ray's average days on Today FM when he wasn't in full gear, but wasn't a depressing bollix.

Will listen sporadically over the coming months to see if there's any changes.

Judging a Radio Show by its first outing has always been pointless, but you would think a man of his experience would be able to drive a desk.

Does he think it's funny, is he trying to wind up his critics or is he really that poor at doing his studio work?
