Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have an iphone 6 plus locked to Vodafone England. Will I be able to unlock it here for use in Dublin?

If you were to go into town to one of those mobile shops would that be any use?

I can vouch for Whiterebel's advice. Used one with good feedback. Highly recommended

I just bought a 6 plus in the US, on a Verizon contract. I was assured by the guy at the Apple Store that it would work with Verizon sim cards from other countries. (Vodafone and Verizon merged in 2009). Make sure you try a vodafone irl sim first before you go tampering with your warranty.

I thought Verizon 1) didn't have sim cards 2) operated on a different type of network

They do have sim cards now. As far as know they are all the same these days. When you buy in the Apple Store the US the phone comes with the simcard loaded in the tray. I have never actually seen it, but I trust it's in there.

You'll be fine OP, changing a sim card has nothing to do with your warranty nor does having it unlocked.

I had an iPhone 6 factory unlocked from O2 UK by a phone repair shop in Dundrum. It wasn't a "dodgy unlock" like some of the shops in town offer where they use the Gevey sims.
