interference around 455mhz

    ...anyone know what this could be in Dublin?

    It completely wipes everything from ~450mhz - 460mhz

    m = milli = 1/1000th. There ARE things that resonate at milli Hz mHz.
    M = Mega

    OK, I'll go back to sleep.

    It could be anything. You'd even need a professional bit of gear to to be sure it's not a spurious signal. A Group A yagi would give enough response to take bearings on it from different locations and plot source.

    I have used navigation systems (Syledis) in the past that worked in the 430-450MHz band. We also used similar frequencies for relaying position info from the tail end of seismic streamers, and transmission of Real Time Kinematic data for GPS surveying.
