Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Somebody points out a bit of basic theology to Fr Ray, his alleged stock in trade, he refers to it as a death threat.

...cards and stuff like that coming in… like one particular card said, ‘Now remember John the Baptist when a woman danced for him and he was beheaded’.

According to ten verses of Matthew 14, John was imprisoned for criticizing King Herod Antipas's marriage to Herodias, the former wife of Antipas's half-brother Herod II.

Herod offered his niece a reward of her choice for performing a dance for his guests on his birthday.

Herodias persuaded her daughter to ask for John the Baptist's head on a platter. Against his better judgment, Herod reluctantly acceded to her request.

That health expert on the carona virus was a fool.
He was recommending face masks, not to protect yourself, but to stop you passing on infection if you have it yourself.
Good Idea except for one small detail.
The mask he was displaying ONLY fitters air been breathed IN
It has a one way flap to allow exhaling (unfiltered) !!!

He should have been recommending face masks without the one way flap.

I reckon they were just props as they had an array of masks and they gave the topic 30 seconds airtime.

Seems a bit harsh to call him a fool because of that. You could say he didn't have a clue. With or without the one way flap I'm sure the mask will have some protection.
