Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I think it's more of a religion with some of them...

More a “I must pretend to like it or god forbid people might think me not Irish enough.”

However I dont trust any Irish man that refers to GAA as bogball.

Why would you not trust me?

It’s a country game for country folk...

Okay so then why did the Dubs win Sam 5 times in a row so?

    Because they did...

Still a country game. Was never a Dublin game..

And it’s kind of funny how we are the best at it...must really rankle the country folk.

You're obviously not involved in GAA within the capital so if you think that.

:D:D Funny I thought the Doctor embarrassed himself tbh. You can't debate with stupid. The presenter and McConkey sat there mostly with an exasperated look on their faces with a tinge of pity.

    Comical Ali, are you back.

Facts figures and the science of the thing v an incoherent emotive argument.
I'm sure it worked for some people.

McConkey was destroyed in the debate. Destroyed to near silence. Doesn’t mean he is wrong, just that he is not a good debater or was not prepared.

You seem to think McConkey won the debate, which he clearly didn’t.

He gave up n exasperation, faced with a 'woe is me' emotive argument.
Whatever, you saw what you saw, I saw it different.

Nope. Sorry but McConkey was blown out of the water to be fair. It wasn't anything else.

Grand. It was only a debate anyway, little more than a game.

If any County in Ireland got half the money that's pumped into the Dublin, the would have no problem winning a few All-Irelands either.
Not to mention the backroom staff.

More like If 25 counties got twice the money Dublin get they still wouldn’t win an All-Ireland. It’s about players at end of day and Dublin have them

Really, only for crooked Bertie pumping millions into the Dublin GAA clubs back in his day there would be f*ck all GAA played in Dublin,

Not tuning in to listen to Brendan O'Carroll give his opinion on the outcome of the election, because he's living in Florida.
