My better half was approached on the street in london once and asked would she consider joining an adult model agency for photos and movies (by another woman)

Well, She never shut up about it for months, her girl friends laugh like crazed loons any time it was raised - you’d think they’d asked her to fly to the moon single handedly or something

They saw it as “beneath them”, something only a desperate down on your luck stripper would do...

Whereas as you say it’s much more accepted in the states and Europe in general

Can't see how this has anything to do with Ireland - this is a global online platform, porn is freely available with the world and his dog on cam for free. I cannot see how someone would be willing to pay $20 a month.

Parts of the State is ultra conservative, can't even get ready for a swim in places.

We can't go abroad

We *may* be able to go to another county if we're very good

But everywhere will be booked out, so we stay at home.

Typical of a certain demographic.

Went to the Gaeltacht as a kid, a hen party in Carrick on Shannon and a wedding in a big house they are not sure where.

After that it's foreign all the way.

Tourism providers are all over this market trying to make a few bob.

It's going to be hectic this Summer, if you know a quiet spot keep it to yourself.
