Look, it's not a private debate. It's a public debate and therefore comments can be libellous. It's not really a matter from RTE's pov whether what was said is true or not. I actually think what Brolly said has some truth but again that's not the point.

What I'm hearing is that there is a fear of change. Northern Ireland is a basket case but it seems these people are happy enough to plod along with it despite the fact that we are leaving them for dust when it comes to pretty much every metric of quality of life.
