I think it was suggested by them in one of the monumental speeches in recent years, maybe by QE when MDH was in London and our media interpreted it as a huge gesture of symbolism of two natures standing together and paying homage to past etc... Probably in reality, nice offer but we should focus on our own nation on that day

I never consider Claire Byrne a genious but she is an excellent presenter. Her mediation of these "serious" interviews and political interviews makes tubridy look like an over exuberant transition year debater. Saying that she seems very dry, doesnt she.

I like the set layout, gives the setting of a debate chamber with both "sides" facing eachother. I imagine the production company saw the advantage of having a glamorous lady like Claire not hidden behind a desk.
