Looking at the accounts of Peter Mcverry Trust gives an idea of the figures.

Total income of 17 million which over 14.5m came from the state and 15 million paid on wages.

Im sure the money dished out to these charities could be used a lot better.

I have not time for Mcverry at all its just constant moaning with 3 million in the bank.

I worked in the libraries. Staff are instructed to facilitate people to check the register for themselves online when a public computer becomes available, and in smaller branches you must register with us to become a library user to do this. The information that’s given out on RTE can be very misleading.
