Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Out of them all he's the only one who I considered was honest. Also the fact that he's not going to be claiming millions of euro in wages and expenses is another bonus. But my main reason for supporting him has to be that he's not terrified by the pcbrigade snowflakes.

In my eyes, he painted himself with a bad brush. There's not conforming to the PC brigades, and there's making statements that can be worded better.

I will admit some of the reactions have been utterly crazy.

Casey didn't do himself any favours on the news today-instead of being able to back up his statements, he ran from the travelling community.

    Guy has no backbone.

Over the last couple of days he has gained so many supporters. He speaks the truth that pcbrigade snowflakes have stopped a lot of ordinary workers doing . Guy is a legend. And best of all not another leech.

    Racism for dogs.
I hope that won't set the tone for TV campaigns in this country.

    True.
I think at this stage he would be far better sticking to his guns. Lets see how he does in the debate, I have a feeling he will back peddle quite a bit.

Lovely segment at the end of last night's show.
Just Claire with four of the Munster team who beat the All Blacks in Limerick in 1978.

Even if you have only a passing interest in sport this is worth a look.

Has a show on BBC or some other channel. He's like a cross between Rush Limbaugh, Jerry Springer and Vincent Brown-shouting, roaring, and other stuff.

Saw his show once, about ten minutes, and it's boorish.

Stephen is boss, as they say in Liverpool. Jim McAllister is a tough cookie. Was wondering why Claire went up to Belfast.

Jim Allister first headbanger of the night.

Englishman referring to Ireland as "the south" always irks me despite me understanding why they say it.

A lot more shouting than there usually is on the Claire Byrne show anyway.

The northern audience for Nolan are usually a touch more vocal than the usual Claire Byrne gang.

Jim Allister first headbanger of the night.

Eh no, Christopher Chope beat him to it by 3 minutes. Birds of a feather indeed.

Claire Byrne in Belfast with Republic of Ireland panel and Stephen Nolan in Dublin with Northern Irish/British panel.

Naomi Long, she's actually a very good politician. Far too middle ground for NI though.

Nolan asks tough questions no matter who the guest is. He wouldn’t last a day in RTÉ
