I've been a BOI customer for 15 years - to summarise, separated in 2000, divorced in 2007 - divorce order specified that I was to be indemnified against responsibility for mortgage on former family home (my ex was living there). Roll on to 2014 - ex has not paid mortgage in 5 years and mortgage provider now pursuing me.  As a result my credit rating has been affected.

I have a mortgage in my own name on which payments are up to date.
I have a credit card on which payments are up to date.
I have a credit union loan on which payments are up to date.
    I am in fulltime employment.

Is there any way that I can get a loan to change my car?

    Hi Afollower,

Thank you for contacting us here on Boards.

Sorry to hear you were not successful in your loan application. We do not have account access here so we would be unable to investigate this further for you here. As many factors are taken into consideration when you apply for a loan, the best thing would be to contact our Lending Advisors who will be happy to look into this for you. You can call our Lending team on 0818 200 334 between the hours of 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday.

Please do not hesitate to contact us here if you need help with any other query.

    Thanks,
    Sarah
