Just got in from work and my PC won't start. Nothing happens at all. It was fine late last night.

The side panels have been off for a couple weeks. (I was checking something and got lazy). The room was very cold when I got in and it's a bit dusty inside. Which I removed most of. Could it be that or the psu having probs?

Could be a number of things
1 power cable to the motherboard might have come loose when you cleaned out the dust
2 the psu might be knackered as you said
3 the mother board might be knackered
4 the power cable may have a fuse blown or just got damaged.

I'd troubleshoot them one by one till I got to the source of the problem

Or you might have disturbed the wires connecting the on-switch to the board

Do you have a fused plug or fuse in the wall? This happened to me, unlikely, but check ;)

Do the fans kick in when booting?

Do you see the boot screen, setup, etc

    Any internal low beeping noise?

Not even getting as far as booting. Absolutely nothing happens when I press the power button. Hopefully.it's just.the plug

Look down at the bottom right hand corner of your motherboard and see if the power button connector is still plugged in to the pins on the motherboard.

You might try booting with no drives connected, just CPU, RAM and fan
