    1. The characters are all isolated from the real world.
    2. Nobody seems to know what is going on or where the story is leading.
    3. There is a monster that rarely shows up, but when it does, it is exciting.
    4. There seems to be a lot of time spent on characters that nobody cares about or don't deserve it.
    5. The main protagonist means well but the viewer hates him because he is kind of a dickhead and will succeed no matter what happens.
