My rent went up so i applied over two months for an increase in rent allowance. It still has not been processed, I live in Dublin 9. How long should i expect for it to be dealt with?

Has your rent gone up past the limits of rent allowance set for your area? In which case you are unlikely to get an increase and instead will be told to find alternative accommodation within the areas limits.

The maximum is 400e for dublin (520e.... you've to pay the 120 yourself).... if your rent is more than that it's benefit cheating, which is illegal, and your payments are very likely to be stopped.
