where would you recommend i go for lunch in the IFSC.
Somewhere that's not to expensive and not to busy I won't get a seat.
A nice sandwich or bowel or soup.
I'm a vegetarian BTW if that helps!

    Thanks

CHQ building has a number of options. In doors and plenty of seating.

There is an Italian restaurant beside the Mayor Sq Luas stop. (Sorry, don't remember the name of it, off the top off my head.) They have a lot of meat free pasta options & a couple of soups.

    Il Fornaio?

Bakehouse in the CHQ does a lovely soup and sandwich combo for 8 euro. Loads of seating in the common area. I highly recommend the large range of warm or cold salads (their Louisiana chicken pasta salad is YUM!!) from 7 Wonders for only 5.95(also in CHQ).

    Yep, that's it.

Unfortunately, their website is having a make over, so you can't have a look at their menu.

Broadway? Could be waiting for a seat there, although they do takeout.

edit: I see its the other one I forgot even existed, that's a lot more actual Italian.

If you want something more substantial (and €€€) Milano's Pizza has plenty of veggie options, Mushashi in Custom House Sq has loads of veggie options too, you may need to book both of those. For the sandwich and soup plus a seat, Seven Wonders in the CHQ is good. The also have a smaller branch on Excise Walk but there's only a few seats there.

As a result of my post this morning I actually went for lunch at 7 Wonders CHQ for the first time today. Far more spacious, and on a cold day I won't need to queue outside like the Mayor Square outlet. I think I'll be back.
