Interest debited from account

    I was debited €2.03 interest on an account on 31/12/2014. I have no overdraft on this account and the account has not been in arrears at any point in 2014 so why was my account debited for interest?

    Thank you for contacting us on Boards.

    As we do not have account access here to check this for you, it would be best to call Bank of Ireland 365 on 0818 365 365. A representative with account access will be happy to look into this for you and explain where this interest arises from. Our representatives are available 8am to midnight Monday to Friday and 9am to 6pm on weekends.
