    An outstanding event.

Hundreds togged out in brilliant sunshine and scenery, I think the organisers had 500 teeshirts printed and ran out! Dozens of stewards along the route, roads closed, 2 water stations, and a really testing course that had 2.5km of a gradual climb to finish at Ireland's highest pub. Loads of food afterwards, and loads of money raised. Winning time of under 40 minutes in the mens 10km which might not sound impressive, but was actually excellent given the course.

The weather sure did play ball, as Cork City was shrouded in a cold fog.
The course was seriously testing (everyone surely secured new 1mile PB in first mile :)). 3km uphill finish sorted a lot of fellas out.
Running into the backs of the slower 5km walkers could be avoided.
Precision Timing did not cover themselves in glory with 10 km results.
Great event, plenty of food and we'll supported.
