Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

VW Golf - Convert clock to miles

    Hi Folks,

    I'll be exporting my Golf GTI to the UK in the next month. I spoke to a guy over there who said that as an alternative to getting a completely new clock I can just get a new facia fitted that has miles and kilometers on it. I'm sure it needs to be calibrated or something after but the guy does MOT tests and said it is completely acceptable.

    Is it possible to get one of these facias/overlays for a MK 5 GTI Golf?

    Thanks in advance

    EDIT::

    I just found this. < http://www.lockwoodinternational.co.uk/golf-mk5-petrol-c362.html > Seems Lockwood are a well known brand for this.

    Question, there is a variety of dials. I guess it's just a case of picking one that suits the car. i.e. Topspeed and red line revs?

    Has anybody been through the conversion/importation process in the UK. Any pointers? Thanks.
